MSHS HOSA – What a weekend!

The Health Occupations (HOSA) team at Mt. Spokane continues to grow each year, and this past weekend was another memorable moment!

Thirty MSHS students boarded a charter bus last week to attend the 2016 State HOSA Leadership conference in Bothell, Washington. Of the thirty who competed, 9 qualified for the National Conference this June in Nashville, Tennessee. These qualifiers include:

Derek Bouvier, Patrick Johnson, Makenzie Funk and Sierra Poquette
3rd in HOSA Bowl

Anoop Hothi, Sukhleen Bolina and Hunter Hohman
2nd in Creative Problem Solving

Derek Bouvier – 2nd in Pathophysiology

Jenna Lawrey – 3rd in Veterinary Science

James Alford – 1st in Prepared Speaking

Congratulations to these qualifiers and ALL of our students who represented Mt. Spokane with complete class! Special thanks to our advisor, Raeleen Epperson, for her dedication to these students!

Go ‘Cats!
