The past year has been a busy one for MSHS junior Jagger Jacobi.
After attending a regional FBU (football) camp in June of 2016 in Seattle, Jagger was selected to take part at the “Top Gun” camp in South Carolina in July. This three day camp included one-on-one instruction and competition amongst some of the best high school players in our country.
After another strong performance, Jagger then was invited to attend the US Army All-American Bowl Combine. This combine, in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamo Dome, welcomed 600 high school football players from around the nation. These young men each competed for a chance to be considered for the 2018 US Army All-America Bowl that is held annually in San Antonio.
Jagger also was able to watch the 2017 game, and his best memory was competing in one-on-one drills against Division I athletes. It was an experience he won’t soon forget!
“Iron sharpens Iron” was the quote that really stuck with Jagger during his time in Texas, and he is hopeful that his experiences will help our Mt. Spokane team get back to the state playoffs this upcoming fall.
Thank you for sharing your story, Jagger!
